Wedding Resources

The Knot – the ultimate wedding website.  If you are a new bride, go to this website.  It is a wealth of information from planning your wedding, wedding ideas, wedding etiquette and DIY techniques.  I used it to create our wedding website and research venues and color palettes even.  Plus, every time I click on their website I am always automatically logged in.  I love that!  I also buy their wedding magazines!  They have such a great “look book” part for dresses.

The Wedding Cafe – if you are a Hawaii bride like me and live on Oahu, check out this really cute store at Ward Warehouse.  I wandered into this store by accident years ago when they first opened and I was already married to my first husband.  I shopped in their clothing boutique before really looking at their wedding resources.  Now as a second time bride, I’ve visited the store a few times.  They have tons of look books for photographers, stationary, cakes, florists and very helpful sales people.  They also have tables in the back where you can sit with a girlfriend and peruse their resources at leisure.  My MOH and I came up with our Save the Date cards in just this way!  They also have workshops that I haven’t attended yet.  But talk about helpful!

Style Me Pretty – oooo…here’s another site I love!  I love the lay out, so clean!  I am obsessed with “clean” websites…it’s elegant, easy to navigate and they have gorgeous photos.  I’ve found so many inspirations on this website with color palettes and love visiting their site to see their new updates.  Check it out!  I highly recommend this if you are a new bride-or just someone who loves “design”.
